“Painting is where I find my independence.  Without the use of my hands, the brush in my mouth becomes an extension of myself, allowing me creative freedom to shape the world the way I want it to be.  My style is romantic-realistic, focusing on emotion and capturing intricate details that portray the beauty I discover in my surroundings.  I enjoy painting my family and the experiences of motherhood with a physical challenge.  With a palette of bold, saturated hues, my optimistic artworks reflect a positive outlook on life.  I am drawn to figurative painting - people, gestures and expressions - because to me, a painting without human presence often feels incomplete.  Through my paintings, I also challenge perceptions of disability, showing that life with a disability can be full, rich and meaningful.” — NETTA GANOR

“I find joy and excitement in capturing and communicating the essence of a moment, whether it be the energy of a situation or the nostalgia of a memory.  I strive to create a sense of “being there” for the viewer.  My artistic journey has evolved from painting and traditional printmaking to photography and digital art.  In my digital prints, I either begin with a clean slate or use scanned fragments of my artwork or photographs that I have taken and then modify, blend and manipulate them with various computer graphics programs.” — LILLIANNE DIAGLE

* WISHES FOR THE FORGOTTEN *
Mixed media digital

“My work explores the intersection of abstraction and memory, using digital illustration to reflect on the silent disappearance of endangered species.  Inspired by postage stamps — symbols of commemoration — these pieces deconstruct familiar forms into abstract compositions, blurring the line between presence and absence.  For this series, I strip away representational details, reducing animals to fragmented textures, gradient shapes and layered colors.  The dissolving imagery mirrors the way these species vanish unnoticed, leaving only traces in history.  Through abstraction, I invite viewers to engage emotionally rather than analytically, prompting them to sense the loss before recognizing its meaning.  This exhibition’s theme challenges me to communicate without literal representation, reinforcing the idea that absence speaks as loudly as presence.” — YEFAN LIU
